Premiere Cinema Corp. announced today it has acquired the real estate assets of Eastern Shore Premiere Cinema. Premiere Cinema Corp. had designed and built the facility and had operated it continuously since 2008.

"We are buying real estate in markets that make sense for us," said Premiere's Gary Moore. "We had been leasing the facility for 6 or 7 years, so we jumped at the opportunity to purchase it outright."

The popular multiplex cinema facility anchors the Eastern Shore Shopping Center just east of Mobile Bay on I-10. Other anchors include Dillards, Belk and Barnes & Noble, along with dozens other national retailers and eateries. The property features live outdoor events at its central plaza/amphitheater.

Premiere is among the Top 15 exhibitors ranked by size in North America, and based in Big Spring, TX.
