Premiere Donation Raises $2,000 for Charity
Tonight's Jeanie Donavan Memorial was an evening to remember. Rio Rancho's Premiere Cinema donated a private VIP party for 50 people to this summer's widely-anticipated "Independence Day", and Premiere's own local Director Sandy Dodson was the emcee auctioning off the prize.
Bidding started at $700 and quickly went to $2,000, and eager movie-goers and fundraisers lined up to enjoy this great event. Proceeds from the event go to benefit the Rio Ranchio Regional Chamber of Commerce's fundraising efforts.
"Premiere's generosity is always received warmly by the Rio Rancho community," according to Ms. Dodson, who frequently represents Premiere and the movie industry in this community just north of Albuquerque. "We been fortunate to have worked together with dozens of local organizations and tonight's event was definitely one of our highlights."
The Rio Rancho Chamber of Commerce is celebrating it's 30th anniversary in concert with tonight's event. Premiere is pleased to donate a portion of every movie-goers dollar to support the enhancement of quality and lifestyle in the greater Rio Rancho area.
