For the last 4 years, Premiere Cinemas has been part of a group of local businesses that help underprivileged kids in the Rio Rancho community. Every year our group grows as the word is spread about the good that Caring Through Clothing provides the local children in need. Rio Rancho elementary schools submit a request each year to be chosen and sponsored by this organization. The schools submit the names of kids who they believe deserve the opportunity to experience things they've only dreamed of and make those dreams a reality.

The day was full of fun activities including a breakfast, movie at Rio Rancho Premiere Cinemas, and a shopping spree. This year, the children beamed with excitement while they watched Dora and the Lost City of Gold and enjoyed drinking soda and eating popcorn.

The founder of this event, Manual Rascon, is the owner and operator of Old School New Styles Barber Shop.  He has worked for many years to get this program up and going and to get sponsors to help make this happen. Growing up, Manual did not have much. He was in foster care for most of his childhood and remembers his first movie to be the most amazing experience. We are thrilled that he approached us years ago to be part of this yearly event.
