HopeNow and Fashion Square Mall hosted the "Back 2 School Bash" in Orlando, FL this weekend.

This event is the biggest Back to School event in Orlando! HopeNow hosts this event because Children are heading back to school in August and the reality is that many won't have the tools they need. Providing new clothes, school supplies, haircuts, etc. is a struggle for many Central Florida families and we want to help!

During the event over 10,000 backpacks filled with school supplies were given to children who will be starting school very soon. Over 15,000 books were given away as well. Services such as free hair cuts, dental check ups and health screenings were also held. 

Premiere Cinemas donated 10,000 free coupons good for a kids pack on the next visit to the Cinema and held a raffle in conjunction with the hosts to give away gift cards as well! The Cinema also donated the use of an auditorium where a book reading was held. Any child who came to the book reading received a free stuffed animal to keep.
