November 28th marked the Grand Opening for Premiere's newest LUX location. Biloxi Premiere LUX Cine & Pizza Pub opened its doors at the Edgewater Mall to "oohs" and "aahs" during the Ribbon Cutting.
Premiere Directors, Cast & Crew rubbed elbows with the local Chamber of Commerce during the big event! "We watched this building transform from a pile of dirt to one of the most beautiful state of the art movie theatres I have ever seen," Theatre Director John Sampson said during the Chamber ribbon cutting. "As long as you are here for us, we will be here for you!" Sampson exclaimed.
Movie guests were treated to free shows of recent blockbuster releases during the next days "Sneak Peek Day". "Every show was a sell out. The people of Biloxi just couldn't wait to see what was in store for them," Sampson added. Concession and Restaurant areas were abuzz with movement as Crew Members rushed to ensure our guests tried our wide selection of PIzzas from the Pizza Pub delivered right to the door of their auditorium.
The Biloxi Premiere LUX Cine & Pizza Pub opened with our state of the art Luxury Recliners complete with fully adjustable recline, head adjustment, swivel tray for your movie snacks and even a USB charging port so you can juice up your phone for use AFTER the movie. The full bar can serve up anything you can dream of, including specialty drinks designed by our Restaurant Director Raven Harris. "Holy Water, one of my creations is selling like hot cakes," Harris mentions. She certainly is proud of the work she is doing with Premiere and cannot wait to share more creations with the people of Biloxi in the near future!
The concession stand features full self service popcorn and Coca-Cola machines. "All popcorn, drink and ICEE is completely refillable FOR FREE during the entire length of your movie" Sampson mentions. "What a great way to spend an afternoon!"
The lobby is home to a bank of quick service kiosks where guests can select their seats before heading to the concession stand or bar, complete with hand scanners where you can scan the tickets directly off your phone!
"We are very excited for guests of the Premiere Cinemas to enjoy their stay and to watch first run movies right here in their own city," Sampson states.
