Montwood Movies Undergoes Renovation and Reopens
Premiere Cinemas will re-open the newly-remodeled Montwood Movies on Montwood and Yarbrough next week, and movie-goers familiar with the "old' Montwood won't believe their eyes, according to Premiere General Manager, Teresa Najera. "It's absolutely beautiful; I don't think people will recognize it!" she says.
Premiere acquired the location after it was closed and performed a through renovation, including installing new chairs with cupholder armrests, new screens, speakers, and digital sound systems throughout. The lobby area was also renovated with large Hollywood murals depicting classic movie theatres and a newly-remodeled concession stand featuring Dippin Dots, Nachos, $1.50 Hot Dogs, and an all new self-serve station where customers can add as much chili, cheese and butter to their treats as they like.
"We're trying to bring a great new level of quality and value to movie-goers in El Paso," says Ms. Najera, "in a friendly, clean and comfortable environment. I know a lot of these customers, and I think they will really notice the difference here."
The Montwood features 7 screens of discounted sub-run movies at $1.50 admission, and with .75 cent admission on Tuesdays.
