Eastern Shore Premiere hosts filmmakers appearance at "Alabama Moon" screening

Premiere Cinema 14 at the Eastern Shore Centre welcomed local Author/Screenwriter Watt Key, Producers Lee Faulkner and Kenny Mclean of Fairhope, Alabama and friends, family and investors to the first full digital screening of their new movie, "Alabama Moon".

"Alabama Moon" is based on a novel by Watt Key that follows a ten-year-old boy named Moon who has lived in a shelter out in the Alabama forest with his father. When Moon's father dies, Moon follows his father's final instructions to travel to Alaska to find others like themselves.

The film stars John Goodman ("Roseanne"; "Oh Brother Where Art Thou"), Clint Howard and Jimmy Bennett ("Star Trek"; "Shorts").

The filmmakers mingled with the audience and signed books and posters after the screening.

Premiere frequently hosts studio screenings and star appearances. Local Director Will Sanders added, "This was the first event of its kind at Eastern Shore where the filmmakers personally presented their movie and interacted with the audience. Movie fans love getting to meet the folks behind the movies and this was a great opportunity for locals to be a part of the process."
