Premiere Unveils Its Newest 16-Screen Flagship

Look out above! Skydivers are scheduled to descend from the heavens into the parking lot next week of Bryan's newest and most widely-anticipated new development project, the Premiere Cinema 16 located on Highway 6 and Highway 158.

Big Spring, TX based Premiere Cinemas has announced the completion of its newest flagship cinema, the Premiere 16, designed by Dallas architects Omniplan to be one of the nicest cinemas in the State of Texas according to Premiere CEO, Gary Moore. "Our goal was to build the nicest theatre around and include more features and amenities to enhance the movie-going experience than anyone had seen before. We went after the top architects in the country to help us do this and bring their expertise in cinema design to this new facility."

The Premiere 16 features wide auditoriums with 18" high stadium risers for virtually unimpaired lines-of-sight from any of the 2,900 comfortable high-back rocking love-seats. "There's not a bad seat in the house," said Premiere's General Manager, Andrea Fletcher, who transferred from San Angelo to run the new Premiere in Bryan/College Station. "I know, I've gone around and sat in almost every one of them!"

Moore also included a Cafe Bistro in the lobby of the new Premiere which serves a full array of food and beverages, and offers a dining room for fireside dining and free WiFi, plus a large outdoor patio area which will have live entertainment and events according to Executive Chef Josh Sasser who toured a group of delegates through the kitchen. "We also encourage guests to take their food and beverages into the movie with them. Chef Sasser's specialities include Angus burgers and gourmet pizzas, as well as salads and desserts, accompanied with a good selection of beers and wines from Bryan's local winery Messina Hof. The Cafe also features a full line of Starbucks coffee and iced drinks.

"We hope to set a new standard for luxury and comfort with this facility," said Matthew Guy, Premiere's Director of Marketing, who adds he will be spending the next few years working with local businesses and media, as well as Texas A&M, Blinn College, local school districts and churches to organize all sorts of movie-going events, charitable activities and community sponsorships. "I know Premiere is fully committed to this market and being the definitive movie-going destination and my job is to make sure people think of Premiere first when they think about going to the movies."
