KFOX Joins Premiere in Organ Donation Event at Bassett Place
KFOX joined forces with Premiere 18 and Bassett Place Mall Saturday for the Donate Life Texas Signup, raising awareness for organ donations and accepting organ donor applications.
El Paso's popular news reporter Hema Mullur headlined the event for KFOX, and said the event received over 100 organ donor applications during their live satellite broadcast which originated from the lobby of Premiere Cinema.
"I can't think of a more worthwhile thing than donating your organs," Premiere's Executive Director of the Premiere 18 told audiences during the broadcast. "It's a cause especially dear to me because today is my grandmother's 68th birthday and she's alive because she received a heart transplant last year."
"Premiere and our staffs work year-round to support good causes and raise awareness for all things ranging from scholarships to sponsorships," said Premiere CEO, Gary Moore. "This is truly worthwhile because it saves lives. The people of El Paso are phenomenal."
