Premiere Plans Gala Opening Festivities at New Bassett Place Premiere 18

Premiere is pleased to announce the opening of its widely-anticipated Premiere 18 at El Paso's Bassett Place Mall. The cinema represents a two-year planning project between Premiere and Bassett Mall Management to bring a new state-of-the-art entertainment facility to residents of Central El Paso and the surrounding area.

"It's a terrific location on I-10 conveniently accessible from all areas of the City, " said Joel Davis, Premiere's V.P. of Operations. "Our customers will come from all areas of the City once they discover the Premiere difference."

The "Premiere difference" includes amenities not commonly seen from other El Paso theatres, such as lush comfortable leather sofas in the lobbies and rest rooms, plush high-back rocking love-seat chairs in all auditoriums, even fresh-flowers brought in weekly. The new auditoriums are spacious and plenty of leg room and range in size from 100 seats to over 330 seats each. The cinema occupies 61,140 square feet and comfortably seats over 3,500 in 18 auditoriums.

Bassett Mall officials say they are "especially thrilled to have Premiere's vision, community involvement and commitment to entertainment," according to Mall Manager Jamie Gallagher. "They build about the nicest theatre anywhere and truly know how to take care of their customers. It will definitely raise the bar for movie going in El Paso."

Premiere features Dippin Dots, the "Ice Cream of the Future", and makes Cotton Candy right in its lobby. The spacious luxurious lobby also includes a Premiere Game Zone with the latest in video arcade games offering interactive fun for the entire family.

The new cinema will offer first-run mainstream Hollywood movies and will show selected features in both English and Spanish-speaking languages to appeal to a wider variety of El Paso movie-goers.
